Well, hello there visitor.

These pictures have taken 59.5 hours to finish in total. @____@ my goodness! Now, on average, that means I only spent about 2-3 hours each, but still!

No wonder I was inactive for a few months!

Anyway, a part of the commission was to make the picture super "epic" and dynamic, showing off their signature move. Now, this was easy for the most part. They practically named Blaze Kick after Blaziken. But some... where more difficult. For instance; Empoleon. I've always been disappointed by the obvious LACK of steel type moves for that guy. especially because there's one that seems so obvious to me!

And don't even get me started on Samurott... *shudder*

I also need to say Thank you to ResistanceGirl11 silver-dragonetsu and Kosumosu for helping me when I was in a pinch, and suggesting colors for a picture I was stuck on! You guys are awesome!

All in all though, I have learned TONS with this series. forcing myself to stick to a limited pallet (in fact, forcing myself to color these at all) and adding a background to most of the pictures has stretched me so much. I feel like I've really "leveled up" as an artist after this. I'm very confident in my ability to choose colors and paint decent pictures. I'm no where NEAR where I want to be *coughAva's DemoncoughGlitchedPuppetcough* but I'm glad to have done this to push myself.

That being said, I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO ALL ARTISTS trying to improve themselves to just get over your fear and JUMP INTO COLOR THEORY. whether its watercolor, acrylic, oil, or digital, just pick a medium, pick a comfortable subject to draw, then color it! Again! and Again! AND AGAIN!

and YOU TOO WILL FEEL VICTORIOUS!

Lionheart

And when the world comes to an end

I'll be there to hold your hand

Cuz your My King

and I'm Your Lionheart...

(Of Monsters and Men, Lionheart)

That song has always been cute to me, just because of that line. And, maybe that's dumb, but I still love it. I want it to be on wedding playlists.

Also, I had to draw this picture of my best friend and her boyfriend because THEY'RE JUST TOO CUTE TO IGNORE, DANGIT

;^;

Kalos

Because Chespin should have some kicking moves with those adorable little feet!

I remember trying so hard to find the right pose for Fennekin.

I really like how Froakie turned out. the bubbles were definitely the hardest but most rewarding part

HELLO, I AM FINALLY POSTING THESE!

These three. Even though upon seeing the new starters to each generation made me cringe with discomfort, when I saw these three I felt like it was different. Like there was actually a sense of quality that went into their design and type match up. It was a whole new generation of pokemon and I actually liked it.

Because, seriously, Fighting/Grass is SO COOL! Breloom has always been a favorite!

Last Day, Folks

The Fighting Otter that was never a Fighting type

My dad thought this was a banana at first glance

Tepig is actually cute, ok? His evolutions...?

So, with the GAM Con coming up in less than 24 hours now-- I'm posting some more pictures for the Con.

but, as you have probably noticed, I haven't posted the starters from every region. That's because I wanted to leave something special for those who decided to come to the Con. When you come, you can see the final starters: Fennekin, Froakie and Chepsin.

After the Con, however, I'll post everything I made. They will also be available to the public for prints, if you are interested!

but for those who want a print RIGHT NOW I suppose you ought to consider coming and visiting me at the Con tomorrow! They'll even be at a special discounted price!

Woo!

SIHNOOOOOO

Chimchar was never a big favorite of mine (stinkin' firefighters)

Turtwig! He's so cute!

Piplup! For some reason, this looks very Christmas-ie? He looks kind like a candy cane!

Just some more pictures in preparation for the GAM Con!

I've talked with some people in the area and invited them to come visit me at the con-- I hope you do! I'll draw you something to say thanks. Any and all support is so appreciated. :)

Can't wait to see you all!
