This is How It Ends

Lord forgive me of the things I've done
I was never meant to hurt no one
but I saw scars...

This is How it Ends
I feel the chemicals burning
in my
bloodstream
(Ed Sherran, Bloodstream)

Art inspired by music has always been a favorite thing for me to do. This picture will probably not make a lot of sense except to me and my friend DakotaLe, who owns this character.

but I hope you enjoy it all the same!

Also, thank you to Miss-Hobbit for some inspiration on designing the format for this picture. I've been studying my LoZ: Majora's Mask Puppet print, and decided to try making the border. turned out pretty good I think.

In other news, I am leaving with my husband for a few days this week to visit friends and "un-slump" ourselves. We've been in our personal Holland for a while, and it's time to get away to enjoy the windmills...(for those of you who do not understand that reference, please read this!)

So until then, there will be very little updated from me! I'll see you all when I return!

Lionheart

And when the world comes to an end
I'll be there to hold your hand
Cuz your My King
and I'm Your Lionheart...

(Of Monsters and MenLionheart)

That song has always been cute to me, just because of that line. And, maybe that's dumb, but I still love it. I want it to be on wedding playlists.

Also, I had to draw this picture of my best friend and her boyfriend because THEY'RE JUST TOO CUTE TO IGNORE, DANGIT
;^;

Kalos

Because Chespin should have some kicking moves with those adorable little feet!

I remember trying so hard to find the right pose for Fennekin.

I really like how Froakie turned out. the bubbles were definitely the hardest but most rewarding part
HELLO, I AM FINALLY POSTING THESE!

These three. Even though upon seeing the new starters to each generation made me cringe with discomfort, when I saw these three I felt like it was different. Like there was actually a sense of quality that went into their design and type match up. It was a whole new generation of pokemon and I actually liked it.

Because, seriously, Fighting/Grass is SO COOL! Breloom has always been a favorite!

It is DONE FOLKS. It's over! And it was AMAZING! The people in Vernal UT really came out of the woodworks to come and partake of GAM Con! I can't believe how successful it was! Hooray!

Thanks to everyone who came to visit me and talk! It was super fun getting to know the local artist/nerd/gammer/furry community. I had no idea you were out there! haha

Last Day, Folks

The Fighting Otter that was never a Fighting type

My dad thought this was a banana at first glance

Tepig is actually cute, ok? His evolutions...?
So, with the GAM Con coming up in less than 24 hours now-- I'm posting some more pictures for the Con.

but, as you have probably noticed, I haven't posted the starters from every region. That's because I wanted to leave something special for those who decided to come to the Con. When you come, you can see the final starters: Fennekin, Froakie and Chepsin.

After the Con, however, I'll post everything I made. They will also be available to the public for prints, if you are interested!

but for those who want a print RIGHT NOW I suppose you ought to consider coming and visiting me at the Con tomorrow! They'll even be at a special discounted price!

Woo!

THREE DAYS

If you would be so kind as to bring your gaze over to the right of my website, you will see the countdown for GAM Convention...

IT'S LESS THAN THREE DAYS AWAY, PEOPLE!

*doing a dance*

My sister and I went to the local printing place here in town and got all of our pictures printed out. Being the naive artist that I am, I didn't really plot out my pictures to be printed out at what sizes and, try as I did, I still didn't have all of my pictures at a consistent size and resolution. First time for everything, right?

wasted paper aside, I made a friend at the Ink Spot during my time spent there cutting white boarders with their paper cutter and now I have all of my prints ready for Saturday.

BUT WHY STOP THERE!!

Why not take the files I have already, edit them just slightly and then make a whole bunch of...

KEYCHAINS!!??

So many keychains... so much blisters on my finger.

SIHNOOOOOO

Chimchar was never a big favorite of mine (stinkin' firefighters)

Turtwig! He's so cute!

Piplup! For some reason, this looks very Christmas-ie? He looks kind like a candy cane!

Just some more pictures in preparation for the GAM Con!

I've talked with some people in the area and invited them to come visit me at the con-- I hope you do! I'll draw you something to say thanks. Any and all support is so appreciated. :)

Can't wait to see you all!
